This kit includes universal push to connect fittings and 3 meters of white RO tubing, making installation quick and hassle-free. How Often Should I Replace the DI Resin?
The length of time between resin changes will depend on the amount of RO/DI water you're producing and the quality of water entering the DI resin, so it's best to rely on the color change, rather than a specific time interval.
The color changing resin will go from a blue to amber color as it is exhausted. Because the water flows from the bottom of the cartridge to the top, this amber color will start towards the bottom and work its way up over time. When there is approximately 1" of blue resin remaining, it's time to replace your DI resin.
